New role for Goodbody at Hotspot
Takes on global head role following Bats buyout
Bill Goodbody, chief operating officer and head of sales at Hotspot FX, has been appointed global head of Hotspot at Bats Global Markets following the completion of the company's buyout this month for $365 million.
Based in New York, Goodbody reports to president and chief executive-elect Chris Concannon, who recently joined Bats from Virtu Financial.
Bats Global Markets confirmed in a statement on Friday that all current Hotspot staff have joined the exchange.
