Currenex loses global head of sales
Russell Sears leaves his London-based role
Russell Sears, senior managing director and global head of sales at foreign exchange platform Currenex, has left the firm.
London-based Sears left the State Street Global Exchange business on March 31, after working there for more than a decade.
Prior to joining Currenex, Sears held senior FX roles at several institutions, including Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Tokai Bank, TD Securities and BNP Paribas.
A spokesperson for State Street confirmed Sears' departure, but declined to comment on his
