Citi FX options trader passes away

Marcin Kania, a vice-president and FX options trader at Citi, died suddenly on the weekend of 6-7 June in what is understood to have been a tragic accident.

He joined the US bank in May 2013 to trade vanilla FX options in the euro, Swiss franc, sterling and Scandinavian currencies.

Previously, Kania worked at BNP Paribas, where he traded complex and structured options between September 2009 and May 2011, followed by G20 vanilla options with a focus on cable and European crosses, before moving on
