BTMU forwards trader Carr dies suddenly

Neil Carr suffered a heart attack while on holiday

Neil Carr, an FX forwards trader at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU), passed away on May 25 at the age of 47, after suffering a heart attack.

Carr was a director and senior trader on the FX forwards desk at the Japanese bank, which he joined in January 2014. Before that he had been deputy head of forwards at Lloyds bank since June 2009.

Previously, Carr worked at HBOS as head of forwards for almost nine years, since October 2000. Earlier, he was head of forwards and emerging markets at WestLB
