He leaves Societe Generale to become FX strategy director

Deutsche Bank in New York

Sebastien Galy, senior currency strategist at Societe Generale, has joined Deutsche Bank as a director of FX strategy.

New York-based Galy will report to Alan Ruskin, global head of G10 FX strategy, and replace Daniel Brehon, who is moving to Deutsche's London office.

Galy had worked at Societe Generale since January 2011, prior to which he was head of FX strategy in North America for BNP Paribas since August 2008.

Brehon joined the German bank in 2007.

The moves were confirmed by Deutsche Bank.
