Societe Generale has hired Tom Gillie as global head of FX options and spot G10 trading, based in London and reporting to Michael Bine, head of fixed income and currency trading, and Alexandre Dupuis, deputy head of fixed income and currency trading, FX Week has learned.

Gillie joins the French bank from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a managing director and global head of FX trading, as well as head of equity trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea).
