Currency Fund Managers Show Solid First-Half Performance In Parker Index

Currency fund managers posted positive results for the first half of 1997, despite a "troublesome trading environment" that caused losses during April and May, according to Parker Global Strategies' (PGS) Parker FX Index. The index is up 5.06 per cent for the period on a reported basis, and on a risk-adjusted basis, is up 0.8 per cent, with 51 of the 59 programmes reporting.
