GFI moves into dollar interest rate swaps
GFI has moved into US dollar interest rate swaps broking in London, with 10 hires for the new desk.
The desk is being headed by Vijay Angelo and Declan Wells, who were hired from Tradition UK and Icap, respectively.
GFI said the new desk will dramatically boost its existing interest rate derivatives brokerage businesses operating out of North America and Asia. These focus on US dollar swaps, emerging market derivatives, treasury, mortgage options
