Citibank Plans Foreign Exchange Shake-Up After Making Simmonds Global FX Head

Citibank has promoted its London treasury director, Julian Simmonds, to a new position as global director of foreign exchange trading and sales, Citi officials confirm.
The appointment, announced at the beginning of this month, will have wide-ranging effects on the structure of Citi's mammoth FX business, which has hitherto been organised on a regional basis, say sources close to the New York-based bank.
According to these sources, the appointment was made because top Citi executives thought that
