The Singapore Board of Commissioners of Currency has reappointed finance minister Richard Hu as its chairman. Hu's term runs from January 2, 2000 to December 31, 2002. In addition, BNP Paribas' chief executive Alain Bailly has been reappointed as a board member as has Akira Watanabe, director and general manager at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. Their terms run from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2002. Other board members appointed were Development Bank of Singapore Group's chief executive John
