Thomas Curry has left his job as comptroller of the currency after serving his five-year term, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) announced on May 3.

Curry was the 30th comptroller of the currency and his term ended on April 9. News of his departure followed media reports that President Donald Trump was preparing to remove him from the post.
