Deutsche Bank promotes Altunis to ICG co-head

Moving up: Altunis' promotion expands his remit from FX to equities and fixed income

Kenan Altunis has been promoted to global head of the institutional clients group (ICG) at Deutsche Bank, FX Week has learned, which he will share with Stephan Hoops.

Altunis and Hoops will report to Marcus Schenck, president and co-head of corporate and investment bank sales at Deutsche.

Before his promotion, London-based Altunis served as global head of institutional FX sales at the German bank.

He first joined Deutsche in 2001, as a managing director in FX sales, before leaving for
