Williams to head CitiFX Wire
Aerin has worked at the newswire since its launch in 2010
Aerin Williams has been promoted to global head of CitiFX Wire, Citi’s foreign exchange newswire, FX Week has learned.
New York-based Williams was involved in the creation and launch of the service in 2010, and has worked for it since. She joined Citi in 2008.
CitiFX Wire gathers comments from Citi’s strategists, traders, quants, structurers and salespeople. It is available through the bank’s trading platforms, including CitiVelocity.
Citi declined to comment.
