Trading places: Andrew Edwards joins Saxo Bank from ETX Capital

Andrew Edwards, former chief executive of retail foreign exchange broker ETX Capital, has been appointed as head of Saxo Bank’s UK office from January 2018, replacing Matteo Cassina, who stepped down from the role in October.

Edwards has worked in the FX retail space for the past 17 years.

Before joining Saxo Bank, he spent 14 years at ETX Capital (2003–17), where he started as head of trading in London and moved up through the ranks to ultimately become chief executive in 2009. Previously, he
