Rival FX class claimants urge court to resolve dispute early
Judge says he won’t favour haste over quality and will consider claimants’ funding arrangements as well as the merits of competing cases
The counsels of rival claimants competing to become the class representative of victims of FX cartels agreed at the Competition Appeal Tribunal in London on February 13 that it would be best if the judge presiding over the first such class action in the UK decides sooner rather than later who will represent members of the class going forward.
