Scotiabank has been authorised by the Thai Ministry of Finance to operate a Provincial International Banking Facility (PIBF) in Chon Buri. This means Scotia, among other things, will handle foreign currency transactions against the Thai baht with authorised banks under foreign exchange control regulations.
