StanChart HK Opens New Treasury Trading Floor

HONG KONG--Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong recently opened a revamped, HKD70 million ($9 million), 100-position treasury trading floor in Hong Kong.

The new floor is one of the first major deployments of the Active1 front-end desktop software from Bridge Information Systems in Asia-Pacific, says Alan Deakins, StanChart's head of IT for treasury services in North Asia. Active1 will allow users to create their own worksheets of market prices, news and charts, which can then be incorporated
