At the heart of the business sessions during the 38th Annual Congress of the ACI: The Financial Markets Association, held in Frankfurt May 16-18, was a panel discussion by central bankers on the proposed European Monetary Union (EMU). The EMU theme dominated discussions throughout the conference and featured a speech by Bundesbank president Dr. Hans Tietmeyer.
