Deutsche's "dBus" Bolsters Global FX Trading

TECHNOLOGY SPOTLIGHT

NEW YORK--In the wake of a successful FX pilot, several trading desks within Deutsche Bank are investigating how to use a new messaging backbone, the Deutsche Bank Information Bus (dBus) built upon publish/subscribe technology from Vitria Technology.

The dBus allows Deutsche to integrate mission-critical front and back office applications, says a source. "The goal is to transport data from point A to point B--no matter what the data is," the source says.
