CLS targets buy side with Omgeo

The two companies are today (July 26) launching support for CLS settlement instructions on the web-based multi-asset class SSI database Omgeo Alert. The feature went into production as a soft launch in May with early clients and their foreign exchange instructions onboarded since, say vendor officials.

The initiative enables traders to electronically and in real time publish and exchange FX instructions settled on CLS. At present, most FX settlement information is communicated manually
