Reuters Files To Dismiss Dealing 2000-2 Lawsuit

Last week Reuters filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit against the company alleging that Reuters misled shareholders in remarks about the commercial prospects of Dealing 2000-2. In federal court in Brooklyn, Reuters' lawyer, Dennis Block, argued that Reuters was sufficiently cautious about the development and launch of the system, which has yet to be introduced.

The original lawsuit, filed by Reuters American Depositary Receipt holder Charles Kesten and others in January, alleged that Reuters
